Recruitment of Research Staff
Position: Research fellow (Part-time)
A part-time researcher is being recruited to engage in all or part of the following duties, for up to 30 hours per week.
Scope of Work:
- Data entry for surveys on climate change awareness
- Data organization, mapping, and processing using ArcGIS
- Analysis and academic writing using international comparative data on climate change awareness
- Analysis and academic writing using survey data on paddy field dam (Tanbo Dam) initiatives
- Analysis and academic writing using data on health tourism in the Tohoku region
- Analysis and academic writing related to Environmental Burden of Disease (EBD)
Requirements:
- A Master’s degree or higher is required
- Experience with ArcGIS, Stata, or similar tools is preferred
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher (preference given to candidates intending to pursue or holding a PhD)
Experience with ArcGIS, stata, or similar tools is desirable
Prior professional (non-academic) work experience is an advantage
Work Location: Yoshida-South Campus, Kyoto University, or remote work (negotiable)

Salary:
Hourly wage: from JPY 1,500
(To be determined based on ability and experience in accordance with Kyoto University regulations)
